KUALA LUMPUR: The prime minister said yesterday he did not believe Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Najib’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor were in any way involved in the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi also categorically dismissed the claim by blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin in a sworn statement that he had received a military intelligence report linking Rosmah to the crime.

“He said in his statutory declaration that I had been handed a report about the murder by the military intelligence. That is not correct.

“I did not receive anything. Nothing was sent to me.”

Abdullah said he was concerned about Raja Petra’s allegations and had been informed by the attorney-general that an investigation would be carried out based on the statutory declaration.

“What he did is unacceptable. What he said is wrong,” Abdullah said after chairing a meeting of the cabinet committee on palm oil at Parliament House.

In the Dewan Rakyat, Lim Kit Siang (DAP-Ipoh Timur) filed an emergency motion to discuss the statutory declaration.

It was rejected yesterday on the grounds that the matter was sub judice.

Policemen Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar and Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri are on trial for Altantuya’s murder. Political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda has been charged with abetment.

Raja Petra already faces sedition charges in connection with an earlier posting about the murder on his website.

On the inflation motion which was passed by the house on Monday, Abdullah said investor confidence would be restored by the convincing show of support for the government.

I fully agree with Tok Uban.

Raja Petra is embarrassing himself. Playing ping-pong (talk this, talk that) like this is just like Anwar. If you got proof just bring it out. If you are afraid the police will “chiau” your proof, then post it on the internet. After all he is the expert blogger, isn’t he?

Anwar also another one. If you got support from Sabah, Sarawak or MCA or whatever, just keep quiet lah. Just form the government.

Now Raja behaving exactly like Anwar. It will be hard for people to believe they are not in cahoots.

All along Raja is writing for a better Malaysia, exposing corruption and bad practices of the Government regardless whether they are Malay or not. He is unbiased and this is very good.

But now it appears that he has an agenda. It’s okay to have an agenda. Just come out open and support Anwar lah, nothing wrong with that. Don’t try to be unbiased and at the same time trying to kill Najib so that Anwar can be PM. If got proof just bring it out.

Be a master of Malaysian Malaysia, not a Master of Suspense.
