LONDON: David Villa insists he will reject Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to stay with Valencia.
The Spain striker, 26, is in demand after he finished the top scorer at Euro 2008.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are competing with the Premier League’s top clubs for Villa.
But he insisted: “I am happy at Valencia and I hope to continue for many years.
“I hope I can continue for many years, including more than I have signed for.
“I’m under contract and I’m very happy at Valencia.”
Valencia president Agustin Morera has warned off any club considering a bid for Villa or his team-mate David Silva.
The pair were two of the star performers as Spain won Euro 2008.
He said: “If we had wanted to transfer Villa and Silva like other players, it wasn’t that it didn’t happen because of a lack of offers.
“Last year was the same as now, we have offers on the table for them.
“But our interest is that they stay. That is our hope as well as to have a very great team.” – The Sun, London
