KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has declined comment on the latest allegations, which were contained in a statutory declaration, against his deputy, saying that the matter now rests with the court.
He said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had however told him of the allegations but did not discuss the matter.
“I know that he wants to seek the views of the Attorney-General because the matter is with the court now.
“I don’t think this matter should be raised now and I don’t want to comment on it.
“In my opinion, it’s subjudice,” Abdullah told reporters here yesterday.
When told that PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had divulged contents of the declaration by P. Balasubramaniam, the private investigator hired by Abdul Razak Baginda, Abdullah said: “Lagi riuhlah (It will be more lively now). What is he doing to confuse us again?
“Tak habis dengan cerita ini? (Is there no end to this story?).”
