PUTRAJAYA: Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who is on a one-day official visit to the country, was accorded a warm welcome at Dataran Perdana, Bangunan Perdana Putra, here on Thursday.
He was greeted upon arrival at 9.15am by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
The Royal Malay Regiment Armour band played the national anthems of Malaysia and Australia.

Cabinet ministers and foreign diplomats were then introduced to him.
Present was Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
