TAIPING: From Monday, Members of Parliament are not allowed to bring guests into the august House.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said previously, MPs were allowed to bring a maximum of five guests.

Nazri said the ban was due to security concerns.

“We have received information that there will be a demonstration in or near Parliament on Monday,” he told reporters in Kuala Kangsar on Saturday.
