Technician Hamdan Ahadluddin, 49, was sentenced to 10 years jail and six strokes of the rotan for attempted rape and rape of a minor.
Petaling Jaya Sessions court judge Rozina Ayub sentenced him after a full trial. He was found guilty of committing the offences in 2004 and 2005.
The incident occurred 10 days before the accused was supposed to marry the victim’s mother.
