DEFENDING Malaysia Cup champions Kedah, who lost 1-0 to Kuala Lumpur at the Darulaman Stadium on Friday, take on Sabah at the Likas Stadium today in a match that will test Kedah’s endurance and mental strength.
Kedah have a hectic schedule having played seven matches in 20 days. Recent FA Cup runners-up Selangor are also in the same boat.
“We been having a tough time but I hope the players can recover for the match against Sabah as it is never easy playing Sabah at home,” said Kedah coach Azraai Khor.
Azraai is glad to have striker Marlon Alex James and defender Bernard Huggins back in the squad. Both had been away on national duty in the 2010 World Cup qualifying.
“Both players are looking tired and jaded after long flights.
