THE front-runner in Group C, UPB-MyTeam, maintained their unbeaten record while Group B leaders, Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) suffered their first loss the Malaysia Cup matches yesterday.
UPB-MyTeam are also the only team to have won all five matches while PDRM who have played six matches, won three, drew twice and lost once.
In a Group A match, Negeri Sembilan defeated Melaka 3-2 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi.
At the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, Kelantan defeated Sarawak 3-2.
The hosts got a first-minute goal through S. Kunalan, followed by Lamin Conteh Jr (pic) in the 61st minute and Udo Fortune 10 minutes later.
Melaka scored through Ashadi Md Yusuf (24th) and Roshaiful Nizam (51st).
In Group B, defending champions Kedah, playing without four main players thrashed PDRM 3-1 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.
At the State Stadium in Batu Kawan, bottom-of-the-table Sabah got their second win in six matches, defeating hosts Penang 1-0.
