OK. Yes! They did it.
I just came back to my house at 10pm to find it totally ransacked. All my stuff from upstairs bedroom to my office downstairs all thrown on the floor. (It happened anytime after 2.30pm this afternoon when we went for Batman movie.)
As expected lah. With our crime rate and petrol price increasing, and police too busy making Sodo Mee…
They TOOK my notebook (damage 4k+, Maxis package), camera (cheap, 500), piggy bank (one or two hundred bucks), 3 bottles of liquor (almost 1k), 3 Rolex watches (150, Petaling Street).
They DIDN’T TAKE cash (few hundred bucks, they missed it), Passport (missed that, too), expensive watch (don’t know why I decided to wear it today, phew!!!), 2 piggy banks (couple of hundred bucks, maybe too heavy), 3 PCs with printers, scanner… They left the jewellery alone also (should we say thank you?), maybe they thought those were fakes. Anyway, cheap.
They climbed in through the back wall, broke the glass on maid’s back room, twisted the iron grill, crawled in. Then they used cutter to cut the locks of my 2 back doors. They totally messed up the place but didn’t damage anything.
Suspected more than one person job, likely Malay. This garden is just next to Bandar Tun Razak. Chinese (they do banks), Indians (they dont’ stay around here), Indonesians (not many around here also). A gang of Malays lifted my autogate from its hinges 2 weeks back. Maybe they were trying to dislodge it and sell for scrap metal…
Bravo. We are feeling very safe nowadays, right?
Take care, guys.
Suggestions so far - dogs, Rukun Tetangga, pay for guards, have more locks…. any more suggestions?
